I used to think that people that committed suicide were selfish. Selfish for leaving all of they’re friends and family question all of the “why’s” and “what if’s.” Now when I feel all of these for myself I can only think of how broken he must have been. How hopeless he must have been when he made this decision. I can’t imagine that he was even thinking of how everyone felt about him, or he wouldn’t have gone through with it. Patrick was lost. Suicide victims aren’t selfish; they are hopeless. My only hope is that everyone that loved him can forgive him.
